About Us
We tackle topics that matter, using methods and stories that stick. We provide wellbeing, eSafety, relationships and sexuality education designed to equip, and empower.
Through contemporary presentations, programs, and resources we bring about lasting change to people’s self-worth, beliefs, and behaviours. In this way, we not only advance personal growth, but also transform families, communities, and the world.
Real Talk gets to the heart of topics, challenging unhealthy behaviours, whilst bringing hope for the future, and a compass for living life to the full.
In schools, Real Talk makes genuine connections and provides a safe space that encourages empathy and understanding. This sparks ongoing authentic conversations, fostering maturity. Real Talk brings specialised expertise and a proven pedagogy to improve relationships, self-awareness, and to help students to understand and live Christian values. Real Talk’s online resources and presentations (for students, staff, and parents), enables young people in primary and secondary schools, to cultivate resilience, pursue meaningful change, and to improve their mental health.

Our Story
Real Talk (Real Talk International Ltd.) was registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission in 2013 and is governed by a Board of Directors. Since that time it has grown rapidly throughout Australia and New Zealand to become possibly the most prolific provider of values-based relationships education in the world.
Our staff has grown in just a few years from two (founding Directors Paul Ninnes and Kym Keady) to fifteen in 2023. In 2023 alone, over 40,000 people were reached through over 650 live presenting sessions. In recent years, we have launched our online teaching website Real Talk Education and parenting website Real Talk Parents.
There is a massive need for the education we provide. Modern culture presents young people with many exciting opportunities, but there are also many new challenges, including the hyper-sexualisation of young people, the impact of the digital world and the pressures on home life. A lack of formation in these areas can result in poor decision making, heartache and mental illness.
Despite this gloomy picture, Real Talk has some good news! There is a better way to live. There is a blueprint for positive self-worth and healthy, lasting relationships based on love and respect. Young people are thirsty for the truth and when they hear it, they know it. Real Talk are experts at communicating with young people in a real and challenging way whilst sharing a positive vision and enabling people to move towards it.
Real Talk exists in part due to the generous support of the public. Real Talk International Ltd. is registered with the Office of Fair Trading as a fundraising organisation in QLD. Real Talk also exists as a charitable trust in New Zealand. Please contact us if you would like to discuss supporting us or click here to donate.
